Dr. Joy Augustine, completed his MBBS (1978), MD Pathology(1986), and Diploma in Clinical Pathology (1983) from Government Medical college Trivandrum.
He has 36 years experience as a medical Teacher in various Govt. Medical Colleges in Kerala. He has 38 publications in National and International journals. His specific interests are in Haematopathology and Orthopaedic pathology.

After which she completed 3 year Post Graduate Degree Course in Pathology from Government Medical College Thrissur and attained a Doctor of Medicine in Pathology.
